UNICEF Training Course, Programming for Infant and Young Child Feeding

UNICEF and the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell have jointly developed an online training course, Programming for Infant and Young Child Feeding. This course aims to enhance the competencies and build capacity of UNICEF staff and counterparts who are involved in IYCF program development, program implementation, and program evaluation.

Making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice: An Introduction to Policy, Systems, and Environmental Approaches to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity

The course has been developed by the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University in collaboration with a national team of EFNEP and SNAP-Ed professionals.

It is designed to meet the needs of professionals working to increase access to healthy food and physical activity options for low-income individuals and families. Learners will gain knowledge and skills to develop, implement, and evaluate effective policies, systems, and environmental (PSE) approaches in this 6-module, self-paced course.

Cost: $120/person with group discounts available. Provides 12 approved contact hours.

Maternal and Infant Nutrition in the First 1,000 Days

This course has been developed by the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University.

It is designed for registered dietitian nutritionists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, certified midwives, certified nurse-midwives, lactation consultants (IBCLC and CLC), and other health professionals who counsel pregnant and lactating women. Learners will gain knowledge and skills related to the first 1,000 days, diet and activity during pregnancy and lactation, human milk production and feeding, and providing solid foods in this 5-module, self-paced course.

Cost: $200/person. Provides 10 approved contact hours.
